Kim Heechul Chosen as the Official MC of Radio Star

Super Junior's member Kim Heechul has taken over Radio Star's MC position for Shin Junghwan.

Kim Heechul participated in the taping of MBC Golden Fishery-Radio Star on December 1st as the official member to work with Kim Gookjin, Yoon Jongshin and Kim Goora.


Radio Star has been recently using temporary MCs to replace Shin Junghwan who quit after his controversy with overseas gambling.  After competing with Kim Taewon, Moon Heejun and Tony An, Kim Heechul joined as the official MC.

A representative of Golden Fishery said, "alll four temporary MCs did well and we are thankful to them.  Among them, Kim Heechul was the one who worked with the other MCs.  We determined that as the maknae, he was the right person to lead Radio Star."

A rep added, "we think of other temporary MCs as Radio Star's family.  We are thinking of doing a special with them."

Kim Heechul who joins Radio Star as the official MC appeared alongside Psy and Lee Juk on the show previously.  He showed his great talking skills by creating a breath of fresh air in the show.  

During December 1st taping, Kim heechul looked happy and confident as the official MC.

A representative of Golden Fishery said, "Kim Heechul especially works well with Kim Goora.  He made everyone laugh by standing up to formidable Kim Goora."

The episode which features Kim Heechul will air sometime this month.

Sungmin Talks About his First Acting gig in President

Super Junior Sungmin has expressed his thoughts about acting in the new KBS2 Wednesday Thursday drama, President. 

On November 25th, Sungmin said, "I appeared in a mini drama and musicals before, but this is the first time that I will be acting in a traditional drama that President is almost like my first acting gig.  I feel like I inherited great fortune because I am able to work with serious actors in my first work.    
He added, "my character is someone who is not wise about the world, but has a big desire to succeed.  I've thought a lot about how to act a character who's an immature son.  It's burdensome to be filming with great actors.  When I first acted, I was so nervous that my hands were shaking.  After the filming ended, my whole body was aching."   

Lastly, Sungmin said, "even though my body is fatigued, my mind is happy.  I am looking forward to receiving assessment on actor Sungmin.  I hope everyone becomes interested in the drama.   
The character that Sungmin will play is Jang Sungmin who possesses a sense of inferiority about his strong and passionate father because he has weak personality.  

Meanwhile, President will air its first episode on December 8th

          

Kim Heechul to be Featured in Defcon's song Kingwangjjang

Super Junior's Kim Heechul has participated in Defcon's new single Kingwangjjang. 

Defcon's management company Di Music revealed on November 25th, "Kim Heechul wrote the rap to the song and is featured in the song.  It is the first time that they have worked together."

Kingwangjjang, a song that has strong beats is about regaining modern people's confidence.  Two people have surpassed their each position as an idol and a hip hop artist to experiment with music.  They  believe that the song will appeal to people with its different style of music.  

Kingwangjjang will soon be revealed on various music sites. 

Kim Heechul unintentionally insults Kim Kook Jin

Super Junior’s quirky Kim Hee Chul recently showed apologetic feelings towards Kim Kook Jin. On the 10th, this idol appeared as a guest on MBC’s Radio Star and unintentionally insulted MC Kim Kook Jin. Along with the other guest Lee Juk, Kim Hee Chul talked about dating and relationships stating, “Now that I think about it, I’m the only person who’s single here,” as Kim Gura, Yoon Jong Shin and Lee Juk are all married.

However, Heechul had forgotten that Kim Kook Jin went through a rough divorce years ago and was single as well. Later, realizing this huge mistake, Heechul put his head down and exclaimed, “Ah!” By this point, though, the atmosphere was very awkward and everyone was quiet. However, things changed when Kim Kook Jin himself finally commented, “I don’t even know what that means…” causing everyone to laugh which lightened up the atmosphere.

                Asia's most popular group Super Junior celebrates 5th anniversary of their debut.
